Chef Cody's Chop House Menu is Superb! We booked Chef Cody for a dinner for six. We selected a side salad, and steaks and salmon for entrees. Chef plated and explained both courses. As we dined, he cleaned the kitchen thoroughly. Throughout the night, he was polite, professional, self-sufficient, respected our group privacy, and focused on providing good service. All six of us raved about the high quality of the meal. Each course was prepared to high culinary standards. And the taste was phenomenal! We also had leftovers from the sides, which did not go to waste. Chef Cody's service freed us to host and focus on quality time with our friends. Had the most wonderful food that Cody cooked! We had 2 appetizers and 2 appetizers that were ordered (Salmon Ceviche & Goat Cheese Sliders and Pecan Chicken & Pimento Mac&Cheese); everything was DELICIOUS! The presentation was worth all of the pictures that were taken and the flavor was "top notch"! The kitchen was clean and garbage taken out when he left - which was ideal for our group of 5 working moms. Cody was very kind, professional and helpful (because we ask him for some ideas of things to do around the Asheville area)!!

To start, the food was fantastic! Cody and his wife Katie take preparing a delicious meal very seriously! Every course was prepared beautifully and thoughtfully. Such a hit with our friend party of 7! Lastly, Cody's communication was incredible. He was kind and accommodating. Made the whole process from scheduling, to dinner and clean up as easy as could be. Cody Viar went above and beyond to make a special from-the-heart dinner for my wife's 40th birthday. We've been around the world and dined in many fine establishments, but there is no place like home. Add some fine dining and time with family, and our hearts and stomachs are full! Highly recommended!
