We hired Chef Thomas to prepare the birthday dinner for my daughter's 40th birthday celebration with 7 of her friends. Not one second did we regret the decision to stay in and have dinner prepared instead of going out to a restaurant. Chef Thomas was pleasant to work with, quick to respond to messages and was flexible on the menu. He recommended the wine we should consider to accompany the meal and he was absolutely correct there. The food was delicious and the presentation absolutely beautiful - everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meal and Chef Thomas was kind enough to toast with us and sing Happy Birthday. He was on time, brought everything he needed and left the kitchen spotless. It was a wonderful experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Chef Thomas!

Food Fire and Knives was the perfect addition to my bachelorette weekend. We ran into an issue with a previous chef not responding and within 24 hours, we had a new chef who was absolutely fantastic. Chef Thomas made the experience one to remember. The food was amazing and so delicious. We appreciate all his help and accommodations and I could not have been happier with this experience. We had Thomas come to cook for us for a 50th birthday girls trip. We had 8 women, 3 with dietary restrictions, and Thomas happily prepared an outstanding meal for us last night. He was prompt, super pleasant, we never lifted a finger and the kitchen was spotless by the time we took our last bite. Such a luxury to have a gourmet meal at our own table. Definitely recommend it!

Chef Thomas was wonderful with his preparation of the courses and dealing with some Air B&B oven issues. All the food was absolutely delicious. Personally, I am a pretty picky eater and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal he prepared. It wasn’t fussy, but flavors were all there. If coming back with in-laws would definitely look up again!

I cannot say enough great things about our experience with Chef Thomas! We discussed the reservation before the date, he was on time to the house, our three course meal was OUTSTANDING, and he made the kick off to our Bachelorette Weekend in Asheville perfect! We will definitely be booking Chef Thomas again next time we are in Asheville!

We were in town for a bachelorette party and had a great experience! Chef Thomas was wonderful! Super friendly and the food was awesome! He was accommodating regarding dietary restrictions and food allergies. Everyone was very happy with the experience and can't wait to do it again!

Chef Thomas communicated well prior to our dinner party and showed up on time and WOW was dinner delicious and gorgeous! He plated and described each course. The whole evening went smoothly and all guests were delighted. I would have Chef Thomas back for any party or event!
