Chef Katie

We had Chef Katie cook an indoor backyard barbq for us just 2 nights after she cooked an Asian influenced meal for us. She is a delight, she comes on time, she is prepared, and she keeps the meal on track. We had the low country boil, the chopped Romaine salad (like a delicious Italian antipasto salad), and the UNBELIEVABLE strawberry shortcake trifle. You must order this dessert!!! We had a bunch of food leftover and Chef Katie packaged it up for us and cleaned our kitchen perfectly.

Chef Katie was very professional and made us a delicious meal. The short ribs were so tender, all the flavors were outstanding. She packed up our leftovers for us and left the rental house kitchen so clean! Thank you for a great evening.

We hired Chef Katie for a family dinner while on vacation at Kiawah Island. She arrived promptly even with a long drive. She was prepared and efficient. The entire experience was about 90 mins including her stellar clean up of the kitchen (I’m sure she left it cleaner than when she arrived!). Her tomato bacon pie was outstanding.

Katie cooked us a delicious meal for our first night in Charleston! We had a jam-packed weekend of bachelorette activities, so it was perfect to have a chef come to our Airbnb and cook for us. Katie was incredibly efficient and professional. She was extremely accommodating of multiple dietary restrictions in our group. And she stayed to clean up after! The salmon was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Highly recommend.

After always being the one to do the cooking it was really wonderful to bring Katie in and treat us to her awesome Asian inspired food. The whole process was easy from scheduling, picking a menu, implementation and clean up! It made for a nice time with special friends.

Kate arrived on time, brought all her own utensils and began to cook our meal. All I had to do was set the table. We loved watching her cook our delicious meal and answering questions about her life and career. After dinner she had the dishes, etc. washed and dried. It was the easiest dinner party I have given. Everyone had a wonderful time and I was relaxed and enjoyed the experience immensely. I would highly recommend this chef and experience.

Chef Katie was fantastic! She showed up right on time, was well-prepared, and had everything taken care of. We sat down and our dinner was ready right on time. Amazing Wedge salad, cheddar biscuits with a very tasty gourmet butter and pepper jelly, then surf n turf dinner cooked perfectly. Chef Katie was a great chef and very attentive to the guests. Everything tasted incredible. Would absolutely have Chef Katie for an event again and recommend to anyone. Thanks again!

Katie came to our vacation rental on Seabrook Island for our daughter’s 30 birthday celebration. She prepared the Good Ol’ American menu for our party of 9. She was very attentive to a food allergy that one guest had. Katie was on time and immediately got to work. She had the appetizers out at our preferred time and we served them family style. The brisket Mac n cheese was simply amazing and the cornbread muffins were delicious. Next was the best French Onion soup I have had in 10 years. We had the beet salad and the colors beautiful on the plate ( tasted good too!) The oh so tender beef tenderloin, lobster mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus were a perfect end to a wonderful food experience! Katie cleaned up everything, boxed up the leftovers and even was kind enough to take a few family pictures for us. Overall, this was a top notch experience. I would recommend chef Katie to all who are looking for a special dining experience!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better meal. It was a pleasure getting to know Katie and her food was out of this world. Best French onion soup I’ve ever had - the s’mores dessert was also incredible. My family couldn’t stop talking about the meal; it was that good!

Katie’s cooking was amazing and the portions were very generous. Make sure you save room for the main course!

Katie prepared an absolutely fabulous BBQ dinner for our family. The food was delicious and more than plentiful. As we have children with particular tastes, Katie was very accommodating, allowing them to enjoy their meal too. Katie is very personable and easy to work with. If you come to Charleston and want a Chef’s Dinner, Katie is the person to contact.

Chef Katie was great, accomodating and so easy to work with! She arrived at the house ready to go and was self-contained. Dinner was delicious and the group enjoyed every course. This menu was fantastic! I highly recommend the pimento cheese appetizer, filet of beef, and lobster mac and cheese. We were able to make this a family style meal with the larger group and that worked out perfectly for the group size and house set up. Great way to start the weekend and still have a great meal after a long day of traveling without having to go out. Thank you, Katie!
