I am a seasoned professional chef with private residence and 5- Star deluxe resort experience in North American, the Caribbean and Europe with a history of exceeding client’s expectations on a daily basis. I have a passion for great food and the ability to produce such for small groups or grand galas with an incredible commitment to excellence. Private Chef positions have taken me to seasonal hotspots such as Tuckers Town, Bermuda, Harbor Springs Michigan, South Hampton & Bridge Hampton, New York, Casco Bay Maine and Telluride Colorado with the last 14 years as private chef with some of New York City’s top UHNW families. My International assignments have taught me to understand and adapt to a variety of International cultures with exceptional interpersonal skills.
A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, I graduated with High Honors from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York 1989. Since entering the industry I have held positions in Private Residences, Beach & Mountain Resorts, Restaurants, and Casinos around the World including the 5 Star & 5 Diamond Camelback Inn in Scottsdale, Arizona, Beaches, Turks & Caicos where I presided over 15 theme restaurants. Lazurnaya Peaks Resort in the Caucasus Mountains near Sochi, Russia, site of the 2014 Winter Olympics the World Class Sanctuary Cap Cana Resort & Spa in the Dominican Republic. Restaurants include Emeril’s flagship restaurant in New Orleans during its opening year when it was selected as the “Best New Restaurant in the U. S.” by all major publications and associations, Casinos including Shangri La Casino the largest Casino in Russia located in Moscow and as Private Chef to many of Americas most prominent families. I have prepared foods for 12 Presidents and Prime Ministers from around the world.
International and U.S. assignments include positions in 8 Caribbean and European countries as well as a dozen major American cities. I have presided over cuisines and themes including Cajun & Creole, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Georgian, Caribbean, Jamaican, Japanese, Mexican and Southwestern.

Chef Michael brought an amazing experience and dinner to my friend's bachelor party weekend. He was flexible with the limited kitchen setup available from the airbnb and made us an excellent meal. This was my first time booking a private chef and the bar could not have been set higher. Chef Mike was absolutely incredible from planning all the way through cleanup! He was very accommodating to the food allergies and preferences in our large group and was able to seamlessly provide a beautiful menu that met everyone's needs and exceeded everyone's expectations! I have literally never had a more delicious fall salad in my life and the entrees and dessert were lovely as well. On top of the excellent service, Mike was a delightful addition to our party! Warm, open and sociable - we genuinely enjoyed spending time with him through our event. Timing was perfect and he left the kitchen spotless. We would rebook with Chef Mike in a heartbeat!
