About Chef John

Chef John is a Texas native with roots beginning in Louisiana. While studying Computer Engineering, chef fell in love with cooking and everything it had to offer. He decided to quit school and get into the culinary field by starting a food truck with a friend. Since then he has founded a Culinary company with an umbrella of services including; a Private Chef, Event Catering and Restaurant Consulting. John has co-founded restaurants in San Antonio, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah. Chef John has also been Executive Chef for restaurants in San Antonio, Atlanta and Louisiana. John takes his Southern roots and incorporate it in his dishes to create an unique burst of flavors. He has been blessed to check off many accomplishments in his career. To name a few, he has been the private chef for members of the NBA, NFL and top doctors in the New Orleans, San Antonio, Dallas and Salt Lake City areas. Chef was also selected to be one of many chefs to be on the Super Bowl 51 culinary team. Chef John believes he was called to do more than be over the stove top. He’s worked with community leaders and the school system to build programs and career days for students of all ages. He also has mentored for programs My Brothers Keeper Alliance, Big Brothers and Sisters of America, Boys and Girls Club, and spends time doing motivational speaking at schools and events.
