With over 20 years in professional kitchens, I bring a mix of refined technique and genuine hospitality to every event. My culinary journey began at 16, working at The Breakfast Room on Cape Cod before moving through corporate restaurants like TGI Fridays, Longhorn, and Texas Roadhouse, where I built a strong foundation in consistency and cleanliness. From there, I rose through the ranks at The International in Bolton, MA, ultimately serving as Executive Sous Chef before health challenges led me to step back and reimagine my career. After time spent running a natural grocery café and honing my craft in fine dining and banquet settings—including the Bedford Village Inn—I returned home to Cape Cod to launch my private chef business. For the past five years, I’ve worked closely with families and clients across the Cape, bringing restaurant-level food into the comfort of their homes. My style leans into local, seasonal ingredients with clean, bold flavors—whether it’s a seared scallop with brown butter and crispy basil, lobster risotto with lemon and herbs, or a vibrant summer salad picked fresh from the farm. Clients love my ability to create memorable experiences that feel both elevated and effortless, from intimate plated dinners to lively backyard gatherings. At the heart of it all, my goal is simple: to craft food that brings people together. Menu: The Coastal Classics

Chef Ian did an excellent job for a small dinner party for my husband's birthday. We had fun having Chef Ian in the kitchen and got a number of cooking tips. He was easy to get along with. The food was terrific. Very delicious and beautifully presented. He left the kitchen cleaner than when he arrived. He was really easy to communicate with ahead of the event and in planning the menu. The menu was put together using fresh, seasonal ingredients. Would definitely work with Chef Ian again.

Menu: The Coastal Classics

Chef Ian prepared a delicious dinner for my group of 11 at a vacation rental house. He went above and beyond to make it a great experience (he even cut up the giant watermelon we'd picked up earlier and didn't know what to do with!) and was absolutely lovely. I highly recommend!
