Q: What’s the difference between FFK and a catering company?

A caterer is focused on providing meals that are easy to produce and serve to a crowd. Menu choices are typically limited, and customization is rarely available. The idea is to get everyone fed, not to elevate the entire experience. When you hire a Brevard private chef from FFK, it’s all about the experience! Just by browsing our site, you’ll see the level of creativity and quality our pros bring to their menus. And that’s just the beginning. Our chefs engage and interact with your guests, so the meal takes center stage.Host with one of our chefs, and we’re sure you’ll agree: A Food Fire + Knives experience is head and shoulders above the average catered affair.

Q: Can I make changes to my menu after I complete my booking?

At FFK, we ensure flexibility for our clients while honoring our chef’s time. If you aren’t sure about certain courses, just use the “Choose Later” when booking. You can also make tweaks later on by communicating with your chef. Just lock in your choices at least 7 days before your event so your private chef in Brevard has time to prepare.

Menu: Ode To My Love

Chef Robert prepared dinner for our son’s wedding at our home. It could not have been better from the food to the service to the cleanup. We would definitely use him again for another event and highly recommend that others do the same. He brought his friend Adam to help as bartender and served and Adam was wonderful and engaging. And made fantastic cocktails and never let my champagne flute get empty!!

Chef Reggie provided great food and a great experience. He was on time, professional and very patient with our kids during dinner. We chose his Italian menu and a cheesecake dessert, which we’re both amazing. I would absolutely recommend Chef Reggie if you’re in the Scottsdale area and looking for a private, catered dinner. Menu: Wedding Dinner (ORC-160637)

Chef Tim did a wonderful job for our ~50 person wedding!! The communication was top notch, his ability to be flexible was outstanding (because nothing ever goes as planned!), and the quality of food was outstanding. The beef Wellington was A1- the cut of meat, the preparation, the taste…wow. Same with the fish, the vegetables…even the ahi tuna nacho and Indian chicken meatball appetizers— an absolute cut above! Thank you Chef Tim!
