Chef Michael Casciello, a Philadelphia native is now owner and operator of Food Fire + Knives. Chef Casciello has been in the restaurant business for almost 20 years and an Executive Chef in several different restaurants for over 15 years. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park NY, Chef Casciello re-located to Charleston with the goal of spreading his culinary knowledge and diverse cuisines to the low country. 

Chef Casciello is well versed in many different cuisines including, Southern, Italian, Mexican, Californian and his specialty, Asian cuisine. Chef Casciello has worked in many different and well known kitchens in the Philadelphia area such as: Buddakan, The Continental, The Coral Reef Bistro, Rembrandts, Honeygrow, Northbowl, Jakes, La Croix, and most recently Iron Hill Brewery. His goal is to educate the average consumer in the culinary arts and make the benefit of a personal chef accessible to every household.
